LVCA offers citizenship classes throughout the year. Classes are open to people in our community, who have a Green Card, and who will be ready to apply for citizenship in 1 to 2 years. We offer citizenship classes using intermediate-level English and basic-level English.
New Students and students who have not taken classes with LVCA in the past year: Before the class starts, you will need to have a one-hour meeting to fill out our registration forms and take an English test. After you register for the class, we will contact you to schedule your meeting.
Our address is 233 4th St NW, Box L, Charlottesville, VA 22903. Our text number is 833-759-0380.
Classes are free, but we ask new students to pay for the class materials if you are able. If you are new to our classes, you will need our textbook and our English for the Interview handbook. The cost is $25. If you need us to mail you your book and/or handbook, the cost is $5 to mail them to you. If you take citizenship classes with us anytime this school year, you will be able to use the same textbook and English for the Interview handbook and you will not need to pay again. You can mail us the book fee or you can pay online: https://lvoc.givecloud.co/citizenship
