Citizenship Classes

LVCA offers citizenship classes throughout the year. Classes vary in length and subject. Classes are open to anyone in the community who is within two years of applying for U.S. citizenship. For the fall, we will offer both Intermediate and Basic Citizenship Classes

  • Classes are free, but we ask that students pay for class materials if they are able ($10-$30)
  • Classes start in September 16  and end November 14 (9 weeks)
  • Registration is required

New Students and students who have not taken classes with LVCA in the past year:

Before the class starts, you will need to have a one-hour meeting to fill out our registration forms and take an English test. You can come to our office for the meeting, or we can meet on Zoom. After you register for the class, we will contact you to schedule your meeting.

Class is free, but we ask people to pay for the class materials if they are able ($10 - $30 depending on which class materials). Details and the payment link are on the registration form.
